Free/subsidised treatment at various Manipal Hospitals was provided to needy patients throughout the year.
With MEMG’s support, Rs 10 lakhs was donated to a 100 bedded Mental Health Facility-cum-Rehabilitation Centre for their operations. The funds were provided through an NGO – Sane & Enthusiast Volunteers Association of Calcutta.
MF partnered with BEETF (Bangalore Effective Education Task Force) to fund heath check-ups of migrant children from poor economic background. This program covered the initial health check-up in July, and will have a follow up check-up, in the same month in the following year. A few students diagnosed with psychological issues are being counselled by doctors of Manipal Hospital Bangalore.
