Social Initiatives
During the 21-day lock down period imposed by the Government to address the COVID-19 (Corona-virus) crisis, many corporates, individuals, social organizations and NGOs are providing support to local governments to provide food and shelter to daily wage earners. Manipal Foundation has supported one such NGO, KVN Foundation, Bangalore, who provide food to the daily wage earners under their initiative “Feed My Bangalore”. We are proud to mention that more than 15,000 daily wage earners along with their children were fed on a day.
